Dr. P.K Garg

 

 

 

Dr. Pramod Garg is a Professor of Gastroenterology and Associate Dean (Research) at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. His major clinical and research interests are in pancreatic diseases. He has published >110 articles including several seminal papers in his area of interest with an h-index of 36. He has mentored a large number of GI fellows and many PhDs. He is the Secretary of the ‘International Association of Pancreatology’. He is currently an associate editor of the international journal ‘Pancreatology’ and is on the editorial board of many other international journals. He is a fellow of National Academy of Science, National Academy of Medical Sciences, and Royal College of Physicians (Glasg). He has received many awards including Basanti Devi Amir Chand Award from Indian Council of Medical research. He has been invited by many international organizations of repute from around the world to deliver lectures. He serves on the project review committees of Department of Biotechnology and Department of Science & Technology.
