Manish TripathiPh.D Student
Manish completed his post-graduation from AIIMS, New Delhi (2018) and did his dissertation from Molecular Parasitology Lab under the guidance of Dr. Jaya Tyagi and Dr. Sumit Rathore on the subject ‘To identify the complex forming Plasmodium vivax Tryptophan-Rich Antigens’. He joined the lab as Ph.D. student in 2020. His research is focused on the characterization of parasite ligand- host receptor interaction in Plasmodium infection using proteomics-based approach, in-silico techniques and Plasmodium vivax culture.

Vaishali ThukralPh.D Student
Ms. Vaishali Thukral joined the lab in January 2021 and currently pursuing her PhD with main focus on "Characterization of iron uptake mechanisms in Plasmodium falciparum mitochondria". She completed her Master's degree from AIIMS, New Delhi with thesis focussed on investigating the effect of novel small molecule on cell surface toll like receptors induced cytokine expression in healthy PBMCs.

Romisa RazviM.Sc. Student
Ms. Romisa completed her bachelors from university of Kashmir. She is a 2nd year M.Sc (2020-22) student pursuing her masters in Biotechnology from AIIMS, New Delhi. She joined the lab in august 2021. Her dissertation is focussed on “Generation of Recombinant Phage ScFv library against Sars-Cov 2”.

Kulsum FatimaM.Sc. Student
Ms. Kulsum Fatima is a second-year student (2021-23) pursuing her Masters in Biotechnology from All India Institute of medical sciences, New Delhi. Her Dissertation work started in June 2022 which focused on “Screening of phage Library for Identification of Anti SARS CoV-2 Receptor Binding Domain Specific scFv”. She has completed her BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in 2021.

Sudarshana ChatterjeeM.Sc. Student
Ms. Sudarshana Chatterjee is a 2nd year M.Sc student (2021-23) pursuing her master’s degree in Biotechnology from AIIMS, New Delhi. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Life Science from the University of Delhi. Her dissertation is focused on the “Identification of a specific aptamer for the detection of Plasmodium vivax malaria infection.”
