Guidelines for DNA Test

  

We are providing service for disputed paternity test referred by Police and Court only.

 

Requirements for DNA test

1. Properly filled Performa along with following documents.
2. Court order / MLC paper.
3. Identity proof- copy of Aadhar/voter ID/PAN card/ Driving licence.
4. Two colour passport size photo
   1. Blood sample (5ml) should be collect in K2 EDTA vial.
   2. Application should be duly forwarded by concerned authority [not below the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP)].
   3. Only case(s) of South and South East District Jurisdictions or referred case of high court will be accepted.
   4. DNA profiling Charges are Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees- Ten Thousand) per blood sample. 

 

Note: Institute’s (AIIMS, New Delhi) DNA lab is meant primarily for Research and Teaching purpose. It shall only accept limited samples so that it does not affect our teaching and research.
